Mood: Passive

Listening to: Ave Maria, OST The Hitman

Life is filled with ironic moments.

It teases me, tells me how vulnerable and insecure I really am when I’m supposed to be in total control.

I guess no one is ever really in control.

The situation takes control of me, leaving me stranded, floating at sea without an anchor…

Alas, nothing can be done to remedy the hopelessness.

The feeling that I’m helpless, powerless… acquiescing to the twist of fate…

*****

It’s like Alanis Morissette’s Ironic

A traffic jam when you’re already late
A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break
It’s like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife
It’s meeting the man of my dreams
And then meeting his beautiful wife
And isn’t it ironic…don’t you think

Yeah, it is.

  1. God helps those who help themselves… U’re kinda lonely there, it seems? Too bad a cousin of mine there hasn’t got any available daughters and the other cousin’s married! Haiz!!! Got two pretty young nieces…but in Melbourne lah! Never mind!!! It’s all predestined…and love comes to those who wait! (I hope! Hehehehehe!!!…Oops! Sorry!)

  2. haha, you’ve just inspired my next posting!

i was just lamenting on an incident that happened on friday – pretty ironic.

and, it had something to do with, ermmm, emotional detachment.

    i’ll leave it at that… ;)

  3. Murphy’s law.
Sometimes things go wrong so that we can learn from it. :)

  4. i can’t believe this! is it coincidence or do great minds think alike?

the first thought that came to my mind was Murphy’s law :)

anything that can go wrong will go wrong – and it did…
